MTB with @Bikers LU

This summer we provided water analysis kits to the kids of the #Scienceclub (#naturmusée). Thanks to the guides of for the nice experience!

Water analysis during the MTB tour organised by the Science Club on 25-27 July 2017. The conclusions of this experiment are the following. High pH and Dissolved Oxygen levels might be connected with the fact that heavy rain was falling during these days. Overflow rain water often transport heavy doses of fertilisers and sewage remains from the touristic area. Water was very turbulent, but we observed too less turbidity samples and always next to the river. We could improve this by using the bucket collector tool next time to collect water from the middle of the river. On the other hand, we proved that the Depuration Station is cleaning the water in an efficient way.
